Genesis 12:3. . .in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed

For 228 years, First Presbyterian Church has served for Christ in the Heart of Knoxville during wars, economic depressions and recessions, civil unrest, social injustices, political division, and yes, even a global pandemic in 1918.  Through it all, the Lord has been faithful to His people. If we still ourselves before the Lord, we realize how richly blessed we are and can hear the gentle call to join in the work of the Holy Spirit. The Lord always provides for our needs and equips us to go forth to serve others. We are blessed to be a blessing (Gen. 12:3 …in you all families of the earth shall be blessed).

In the year 2020, First Presbyterian Church has celebrated the successful 12 year tenure of a senior pastor, the pastor nominating committee has begun the search for a new senior pastor, our talented ministry team has worked tirelessly to keep us connected through prayer and worship, building renovations are complete, we now have the capability to livestream worship and provide Christian education remotely, and our local and global missions projects are thriving. There is much to be thankful for! This has all been made possible through God’s provision, your diligent prayers, and the generosity of this congregation.

This year’s stewardship campaign will be highlighting the many blessings of God and what He is doing through His people at First Presbyterian Church. Please prayerfully reflect on your many blessings and give as you are led by the Holy Spirit. 2021 pledges can be submitted electronically below.
