Maundy Thursday

Maundy Thursday commemorates the day when Jesus celebrated his final Passover with His disciples. That Passover meal was when Jesus washed the feet of His disciples in an extraordinary display of humility. He then commanded them to do the same for each other.

“Little children, I am with you only a little longer. You will look for me; and as I said to the Jews so now I say to you, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’ I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:33-35

Please join us on Thursday to observe this important day to prepare our hearts for worship and the death and resurrection of Christ.

Note: The service will be live streamed at the link below

There will be a children's program downstairs for Preschool - Pre-K and Kindergarten to 2nd grade, but children are also welcome to attend the service.

Dinner will be a selection of soups (vegetable beef, chicken noodle, and tomato basil), grilled cheese sandwiches, mixed green salad, rolls, various desserts. Thank you to the Efurd cooking team for providing our dinner!
