How to Reserve our Media / Tech Rooms

First Presbyterian’s Media & Technology Room Usage Instructions

First Presbyterian is excited to offer newly upgraded media and technology spaces to support your ministry and events. Whether you’re hosting a Bible study, presentation, or hybrid gathering, following these simple steps will ensure a smooth, stress‑free experience:

  1. Familiarize Yourself with Available Technology
Phase One is complete! The James Park Room and our portable classroom are now ready for use. See this link to see what is available.

  2. Check Availability
Contact the church office at church@fpcknox.org or (865) 546‑2531 to confirm that your desired date and space are open.

  3. Schedule an Introductory Walk‑Through
If you haven’t used the space before, arrange a brief one‑on‑one with a staff member through the church office and let us know what you’ll need—screen projection, Zoom conferencing, slideshow, video playback, etc. We will send you a list of necessary settings and passwords (including Wi‑Fi) in advance.

  4. Consult the Quickstart Guide
Review our online Quickstart Guide for step‑by‑step instructions on the James Park Room setup (and other venues). A printed copy will also be available in the room for easy reference.

  5. Set Up Early on Event Day
Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your start time. This gives you time to connect your device, test audio/video, and troubleshoot any issues—so you can focus on delivering your message, not wrestling with cables.

We look forward to supporting your ministry with media and technology at First Presbyterian—thank you for partnering with us to make every gathering clear, accessible, and impactful!
