Update on PC(USA) Special Offerings for 2026
Due to recent administrative changes within the PC(USA), the structure of denominational special offerings has been updated for 2026. Going forward, the number of special offerings has been reduced from four to three. The Pentecost Offering has been discontinued, the Peacemaking Offering has been incorporated into the World Communion Offering, and One Great Hour of Sharing and the Christmas Joy Offering will continue as before.
2026 Special Offerings Schedule:

I had been praying that God would help me discern the right church community for me and my family and when I entered the sanctuary, it felt like God was saying, “Here’s where you belong.” Almost 40 years later that premonition has remained as strong as ever. So, what’s to like about the First Church? Well, my response would be, “What’s not to like?” If one is looking for warm fellowship, traditional liturgy, Biblically-based sermons with a challenging take-home message, inspiring music, first-rate educational programs for all ages, an urban setting, and a congregation with a heart for local and global missions, First Presbyterian is worth checking out.
