Presbyterian Women Share Care and Hope for Women at the YWCA

Thank you to the Presbyterian Women for their generous gift of six overflowing laundry baskets for women served by the YWCA. These gifts provided both practical support and personal encouragement to women who are navigating hardship related to poverty, housing insecurity, domestic violence, and trauma.

Each basket was filled with care and intention, including blankets, gloves, scarves, bed linens, art supplies, Walmart gift cards, books, devotional materials, Christmas treats, kitchen items, and more. Together, these items offered warmth, provision, and reminders of dignity and care during a difficult season.

The baskets were gratefully received by a YWCA staff member on Thursday, who shared her excitement about delivering them to women in need. Her response reflected how meaningful these gifts will be as they reach women who may feel unseen or overwhelmed.

Scripture calls us to this kind of faithful presence. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2).

Thank you, Presbyterian Women, for your generosity and compassion. Your faithful service continues to be a powerful expression of Christ’s love in our community.
