On Sunday, January 18, during the 11:00 a.m. worship service, we will ordain and install our newly elected elders and deacons. This is an important moment in the life of the church, when we recognize God’s call on these leaders and give thanks for their willingness to serve.


During the service, those being ordained and installed will affirm their faith in Jesus Christ and their commitment to the responsibilities of church leadership. They will answer questions rooted in Scripture, our confessions, and our shared life as a Presbyterian church, expressing their desire to serve faithfully and to seek the peace and unity of the church.


We will pray and lay hands on them as a sign of blessing and commissioning for ministry. The congregation will also promise to support them with prayer, encouragement, and partnership in ministry.


We are thankful for the faithful service of our new Class of 2028 officers. Please hold them in your prayers as they begin this season of leadership, that God would grant them wisdom, compassion, and grace.
