Worshipful Wednesday Series: Resting in Our Worth

What if rest isn't something we have to earn? What if the purpose of rest isn't to make us better at producing?

Join Pastors Mark and Meredith for three Wednesday evenings as we explore Walter Brueggemann's Sabbath as Resistance and discover what the ancient practice of Sabbath might have to teach us today. Together, we'll dig into scripture's vision of rest, not as a reward for productivity, but as a gift that reminds us of who we already are.

We'll ask questions like: What was the Sabbath really about in its original context? How does resting reshape the way we think about God, ourselves, and our worth? And what would it look like to embrace Sabbath as a space where we remember what God has known all along, that we are beloved, not for what we produce, but simply because we are?

Dinner at 5:30 PM | Class from 6:30-7:30 PM James Park Room & Zoom
