Celebrating 13 Years of Ministry with Meredith Loftis!
This week we're celebrating 13 years of ordained ministry for Rev. Dr. Meredith Loftis, nearly 11 of them here at First Presbyterian!
What a gift Meredith has been to our church family!
She has walked with us through celebrations and heartbreaks, challenged us to love our neighbors more deeply, championed missions and justice, and reminded us again and again that following Jesus means caring for those who are often overlooked.
As longtime member Ginny Morrow reflected, Meredith has a rare combination of compassion and courage. She notices people who often feel unseen, isn't afraid to step into difficult places, and gives others the confidence to be courageous too.
Over the past decade, Meredith has become not only a beloved pastor, but also a trusted friend, a faithful encourager, and an important part of so many of our stories. She has a way of making people feel seen, cared for, and deeply loved.
Meredith, thank you for the countless ways you've served First Presbyterian and pointed us toward Christ. We are so grateful for you and for the joy, wisdom, and love you bring to this church every day.
We love you!!
