Laura Barton awarded the Don Tarvin Award at Webb School of Knoxville
Congratulations to First Presbyterian member Laura Barton, who was honored with the Don Tarvin Award at Webb School of Knoxville on Tuesday. She is pictured here with President Ansel Sanders, Lower School Head Kristi Wofford, Grant Barton, and Board Chair Jonathan Johnson.
The Don Tarvin Award is named in honor of Donald L. Tarvin – teacher, coach, plant manager, camp director, friend, and counselor to generations of Webb students. The award is given annually to members of the faculty and staff, who in their daily relationships with students, parents, peers, and the community exemplify the qualities of moral, ethical and spiritual leadership that Webb School seeks to impart to its students.
Cheering for you, Laura! What a gift you are to Webb and to our own church community.
