Youth Spotlight: Harris Eddins

We’re excited to shine this month’s Youth Spotlight on Harris Eddins! Harris is the son of Holly and John Eddins and younger brother to Anne. A senior at West High School, he’s earned numerous academic accolades in physics, engineering, citizenship, and honors courses.

Since joining First Presbyterian Church in 2011, Harris has been an active and dedicated member of our community, including serving as a youth elder.

Outside of school, Harris has a wide array of interests that reflect both his curiosity and adventurous spirit. He enjoys photography, building watches, baseball, 4-H, Young Life, bow hunting, rock climbing, sailing, and snow skiing. His parents describe him as driven, loyal, and full of heart.

Looking ahead, Harris will attend the University of Tennessee this fall, where he plans to study Mechanical Engineering and participate in the Heath Integrated Business and Engineering program. His dream? To one day own and lead a business of his own.

We’re proud of you, Harris, and can’t wait to see how God continues to use your gifts in this next chapter!
