Presbyterian Women are looking forward to beginning the 2026–2027 Horizons Bible study, United Through Christ, Bound to Each Other: Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians by Rhonda Mawhood Lee.
In his first letter to the Corinthians, Paul writes to a community of believers learning how to live faithfully together in the midst of differences, disagreements, and questions about what it means to follow Christ. While Paul wrote nearly 2,000 years ago, many of the questions facing the early church remain remarkably relevant today.
How do our lives demonstrate our trust in Jesus Christ and the resurrection? How do we maintain unity when Christians understand the gospel differently? How do we navigate difficult questions and conflict within the church? And what does it mean to remain bound to one another through Christ even when we disagree?
Throughout the study, participants will explore these questions through prayerful reading, reflection, and conversation.
