Volunteers Needed for POAMN Conference at First Presbyterian in September

First Presbyterian Church will host the Presbyterian Older Adult Ministry Network (POAMN) Conference September 15–18.

POAMN works to educate and equip leaders and congregations to better serve older adults through activity, wellness, care, and social involvement. In partnership with the Presbyterian Mission Agency Board of the PC(USA), the network advocates for older adults, shares valuable resources, raises awareness of the issues they face, and trains those called to serve them.

Volunteers are needed to help us offer a warm welcome and gracious hospitality to conference guests in the Fellowship Hall:

Wednesday, September 16, 10:30 am–12:30 pm: Boxed lunch service and cleanup

Wednesday, September 16, 5:00–7:00 pm: Dinner seating, meal assistance, and cleanup

Thursday, September 17, 10:30 am–12:30 pm: Boxed lunch service and cleanup

If you are available to help during any of these times, please contact Mary Wilson at mqwilson1@gmail.com. Thank you for helping First Presbyterian extend a warm welcome to everyone attending the conference!
