Summer Sunday School for Adults Continues with Crucial Conversations via TheoED Talks this Sunday!
Join us Sundays, July 6–August 3, 9:45–10:45 am in the James Park Room, as Mark and Andy co-lead our Summer Adult Sunday School Series as we shift from from Economics of Shalom to TheoED Conversations.
Each week we’ll:
Hear an 18–20-minute, TED-style “big idea” talk by a leading thinker
Engage in a guided discussion on how our faith informs and is informed by the topic
Vote on which conversation we’ll tackle next
What is TheoED?
TheoED is a faith-based speaker series that brings together top voices from church and academy to deliver no-notes, highly polished talks in 20 minutes or less—designed to spark conversation about God, religion, and the power of faith to change lives and communities. Under the leadership of Ryan Bonfiglio (our retreat speaker and summer sunday school leader), Founding Director, TheoED grew from a 2016 experiment at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta into a multi-city series produced by The Candler Foundry at Emory University.
We may not always agree—but wrestling together with challenging questions will deepen our faith and sharpen our perspectives. Come be part of the conversation!
We'd love to see you in person, but if you can't be there, please join us by Zoom in the link below!
