The Good We Carry Forward - What Dolly Taught us

The death of Dolly Parton has felt personal for so many of us in East Tennessee. Though most of us knew her from a distance, Dolly became part of our lives through her music, faith, generosity and the way she made people feel seen and valued. We spoke with three First Presbyterian members, Ginny Morrow, Sandra Robinson and Kelly Norrell, about their own experiences with Dolly and what her life taught them about strength, dignity, faith and lifting others up. Their stories remind us that the people who inspire us can help make goodness visible and, as Christians, can encourage us to carry that goodness forward as we seek to reflect the love of Christ in our own lives.
