Volunteers Needed for Big Ears Festival Hosting
In just a few weeks, First Presbyterian will again welcome artists, staff, and visitors during the Big Ears Festival. The festival runs March 26–29, and our church building will host events on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
As we did last year, we are looking for volunteers to serve as FPC hosts while concerts are taking place in our building. Hosts help coordinate with festival staff, answer questions, and offer a welcoming presence to the many visitors who will be joining us during the festival.
We hope to have at least three hosts present at all times, and we invite you to sign up for one or more time slots using the SignUpGenius link below. One of the perks of volunteering is that you will be able to enjoy the very talented artists who will perform while you are here. You are also welcome to spend time listening in the church even when you are not officially serving as an FPC host.
We will hold a brief 10–15 minute orientation on Sunday, March 22 at 9:45 am in the Chapel to review details and walk through the building before the festival begins. Information will also be shared by email for those who cannot attend.
Thank you for helping us extend hospitality to our community during this special weekend. Please reach out to Mark Curtis and mcurtis@fpcknox.org if you have questions.
