We are Excited to Host Family Promise starting THIS SUNDAY – Join Us in Welcoming Our Guests! We still have a few volunteer spots open and would love help with laundry too!

We are excited to host Family Promise of Knoxville from July 20–27! If you'd like to help set up, please join us in the Children’s area following the 11:00 worship service on Sunday, July 20th. We're grateful for the many dedicated First Church members who volunteer year after year, and we always welcome new helping hands!

Volunteering with Family Promise is flexible and rewarding. Opportunities range from spending the night at the church to shorter commitments, like welcoming families for a couple of hours and helping them get settled. Family Promise aims to ensure every child experiences the safety and security of a home, and every parent has an opportunity to build a brighter future for their family.

To learn more about Family Promise, visit their website at: https://www.familypromiseknoxville.org

We also need assistance with laundry after the Family Promise week concludes. Laundry bags will be available in the Children’s area on Sunday, July 27th. Please return cleaned items to the Family Promise closet located in the Children’s area within the next few weeks. For more information, contact Jenn Jones at awesomemomandwife@gmail.com.

For more details or questions about hosting Family Promise next week or how you can help, please contact Patrice Minteer at (865) 719-9344 or Linda Kramer at (205) 335-4295. Thank you, First Presbyterian!
