Youth Spotlight: Congratulations to Charlie Smith!

Congratulations to Charlie Smith, our Spotlight Youth of the Month! A recent graduate of Bearden High School, Charlie balanced a wide range of interests during his time there—excelling in science and Latin, playing the violin in the school orchestra, and competing on both the football field and the club baseball team.

Charlie is the eldest child of Emily and Preston Smith and big brother to Laura. A lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church, he’s been an active part of our youth program for years—and a fan favorite on the Fighting Turnips softball team.

Charlie is passionate about the outdoors and recently launched his own landscaping business. He plans to attend the Tennessee College of Applied Technology to study Automotive Technology, while continuing to grow his business and eventually pursuing college.

Known for his honesty and ability to connect well with people of all ages, Charlie is a huge blessing to our church family. We’re proud to celebrate him and send our prayers and blessings as he begins this next chapter.
