Black History Worship Service, February 22 at Fourth United Presbyterian Church — Sing with the Better Together Chorus!

The Presbytery of East Tennessee invites the community to attend the Black History Worship Service on February 22 at 3:00 pm at Fourth United Presbyterian Church, located at 1323 N Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37917. A reception will follow the service.

As part of the celebration, all singers are invited to participate in the multi-church Better Together chorus. Ron Sharpe will direct the choir again this year and extends a special invitation to those who sang with the chorus last year. There will be one rehearsal on February 21 at 11:00 am, followed by a runthrough on February 22 at 2:00 pm, prior to the service.

The choir will reprise several beloved hymns and spirituals from last year’s service, including:

• Lift Every Voice and Sing

• Every Time I Feel the Spirit

• I’m Gonna Live So God Can Use Me

• We Shall Overcome

• They’ll Know We Are Christians By Our Love

Singers from any church are welcome to participate. Those interested or with questions may contact Ron Sharpe at ronsharpe078@gmail.com.
