The Congo Mission Network, which our church supports through Global Missions, will host its 2025 conference October 23–25 at Stillman College and Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Participants may join either in person or online via Zoom.
The theme, “Ethical Leadership and the Church: Living Together,” reflects ongoing church efforts to achieve peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Rev. Dr. Isaac Kalonji, head of the Presbyterian Community in Kinshasa (CPK), is keynote speaker. Programs will focus on “living well” together in difficult times, the new role of the PC (USA) in global engagement, the legacy of mission pioneers like the Rev. William Sheppard and Maria Fearing from Alabama. and much more.
World renowned quilter Yvonne Wells will speak and exhibit her work. Registration is $25 online; in-person registration is $125 before Sept. 1.
