Theme of the event is “One Body with Many Members.” The Rev. Cathy Meyer, pastor of Second Presbyterian Chattanooga and moderator of the Presbytery of East Tennessee, will present the program, "Celebrating 200 Years of PW. " Tracing the predecessor organizations of PW that began more than 200 years ago, Cathy will celebrate the seismic shift that the organization now known as Presbyterian Women has made in the church and world.

The Rev. Cathy Meyer and Aleathea Harris-Little will be the featured speakers at the Fall Spiritual Retreat. Rev. Meyer is moderator of the Presbytery of East Tennessee and pastor of Second Presbyterian Chattanooga. Ms. Harris-Little of Nashville is Tennessee's representative to the board of Mission Haven in Decatur, Ga.

And Aleathea Harris-Little of Nashville, Tennessee’s representative to the board of Mission Haven, will speak about Mission Haven, this event’s mission partner. Located in Decatur, Ga., the nonprofit Mission Haven provides affordable short-term housing and friendly hospitality to Christian missionaries. It is the only US home many mission co-workers know. Incorporated and maintained entirely by Presbyterian Women from seven states (Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Mississippi and Florida), Mission Haven is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. Our church supports Mission Haven. Attendees are asked to bring a financial gift to Mission Haven and its work

The day will close with a worship service and communion. Commissioned Lay Pastor Doris Thomas, pastor of Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church in Sevierville, will lead worship, assisted by CLP Gail Hardy. All Presbyterian Women are invited, whether you belong to a PW group or not.
