We're Going to Scotland! Join us at the Interest meeting in the James Park room on September 27th after 11 am Worship Service Sunday, September 27, immediately after the 11:00 a.m. worship service and Congregational Meeting in the James Park Room.

At our gathering, we will:

  • Look at the best options for dates in Fall 2027.

  • Share information about travel, sightseeing, and opportunities for fellowship.

  • Hear from those who are interested and begin shaping the trip together.

‍‍Why Scotland? A Presbyterian Connection

For Presbyterians, Scotland is much more than a beautiful travel destination, it is an important part of our spiritual heritage. The Presbyterian tradition grew out of the Scottish Reformation, particularly through the work of John Knox and others who sought to reform the church in the 16th century.

Scotland is home to historic churches, cathedrals, universities, and communities that shaped the development of Presbyterian theology and worship. Visiting places such as Edinburgh, St Andrews, and the Scottish Highlands can give us an opportunity to see and experience the history behind traditions that continue to shape Presbyterian churches today.

A trip to Scotland could be both a wonderful adventure and a chance to deepen our appreciation for our Presbyterian roots, to walk where generations of Christians worshiped, studied, preached, and lived out their faith.

Can’t attend the meeting? Information will be shared afterward, and you may also participate by Zoom using the link below..
