Growing in Faith: A Developmental Approach is a two week Worshipful Wednesday class inviting participants to reflect on what we mean when we talk about faith and what it truly means to grow in it. Led by Rev. Dr. Andy Morgan and grounded in the work of the late developmental psychologist and theologian James Fowler, the class explores how faith is shaped over a lifetime and how our understanding of God, ourselves, and the world evolves alongside other aspects of human development.

Together we will consider big questions like who God is, who we are, and where wonder and purpose emerge along our life journeys, while also exploring what growth looks like from one season of faith to the next. This class offers insight into nurturing faith in children, humanizing the questions and concerns of youth, making sense of faith in deconstruction, and learning to love our neighbors and ourselves exactly where we are. 

The class meets Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in the James Park Room and on Zoom, beginning January 7 and concluding January 14.
