Effie Rule Circle Celebrates Advent with Chrismon Ornaments

The Effie Rule Church Circle gathered for its December meeting to celebrate the Advent season by creating Chrismon ornaments together. With all the supplies thoughtfully provided by Pastor Meredith, including beautifully prepared die-cut shapes from Becky Loftis, the group enjoyed a meaningful and creative time of fellowship.
A delicious lunch prepared by Judy Cagle added to the warmth of the day and gave everyone time to eat and chat as ornaments took shape. The finished Chrismons were placed on two trees that Sharon Patton will install in the children’s area, where they will continue to share the symbols and stories of the season with our youngest members.

One of the best highlights of the gathering was the presence of Thomas Wilson, just four months old, who attended with his grandmother, Mary. His joyful appearance was a reminder of the generations gathered together and the hope at the heart of the Christmas story.

The Effie Rule Circle is grateful for the hands and hearts that made this gathering such a meaningful part of the season!
