Emmie Trentham Graduates with Her M.D. and Receives Distinguished Student Award

One of our graduates, Emmie Trentham, was unable to be with us for Graduate Sunday last week for a good reason, she was celebrating a major milestone of her own. Emmie has earned her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, officially becoming a physician.
‍‍
During her time in medical school, she was also honored with the Robert L. Summitt, MD Distinguished Student Achievement Award, given to a graduating senior who demonstrates exceptional scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
‍‍
Emmie is the daughter of proud parents Brent and Rachel Trentham. She will begin her next chapter in June as a pediatric resident physician at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. While we missed celebrating her in person, we are proud of Emmie and send her with our prayers as she begins her work caring for others.
