Please Bring Valentine's Candy for College Student Care Packages at Worshipful Wednesday!

Did you know that First Presbyterian Church prays for and supports more than 20 college and graduate students? While not all of them currently live in Knoxville, they remain an important part of our church family. Wherever they are studying and living, we hold them in prayer and seek ways to remind them that they are known, valued, and cared for.

Next week (February 11th), as part of our Worshipful Wednesday program, we will put that care into action by assembling care packages for these students. Each package is a simple but important reminder that their church is thinking of them, cheering them on, and walking alongside them during a demanding season of life.

We invite you to participate by bringing individually wrapped Valentine’s candy to include in the care packages. Small gestures like this make a real difference, offering encouragement, connection, and a tangible sign of community to students who may be far from home.

If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Meredith Loftis at meredith@fpcknox.org. Thank you for helping us extend care and support to our college students!
