Preserving Beauty and History on Our Grounds at First Presbyterian Church

You may have noticed some recent work in the graveyard area, as the retaining wall has been carefully restored. This wall has stood for generations, quietly holding the history of our church and the many lives remembered here, and time and weather had begun to take their toll.

Thanks to the careful work of a master brick and stone craftsman, the wall has been strengthened and made safe while preserving the original beauty and character of the stonework. We’re grateful for this thoughtful care of a meaningful part of our grounds.

Our thanks to Jane Holland, Director of Finance and Facilities, for coordinating with skilled craftsmen to restore the wall and ensure it will stand strong for generations to come.
