Sylvia and Wayne McLaurin Recognized for Community Impact

Congrats to Sylvia and Wayne McLaurin, who were recently honored with the Volunteer of the Year Orchid Award from the organization Keep Knoxville Beautiful. Through their dedication, they play a vital role in the organization’s mission. KKB organizes more than 6,000 volunteers each year who remove over 116,000 pounds of litter from our roadsides, waterways, and parks.

We are proud of Sylvia and Wayne and are thankful for the way they embody service, stewardship, and love for our city.
